Rara varietà selvatica della specie C. chacoense. Cresce naturalmente nella zona tra Argentina settentrionale, Bolivia e Paraguay. A livello regionale, assume diversi nomi: Tova o Covincho in Paraguay, Covincho o Putaparió in Argentina. La pianta è qualcosa di unico nella sua specie. Non cresce molto in altezza ma sviluppa cespugliosa con dei lunghi rami sottili pochi millimetri in posizione orizzontale o penduli. I fiori sono piccoli, bianchi, con i petali leggermente allungati e privi di macchie. I frutti sono piccoli e a forma ovale. A differenza della variante "NMDUC", i frutti crescono in posizione eretta. A maturazione si staccano facilmente dal picciolo. Matura dal verde al nero al rosso acceso. Sverna molto bene ed è molto produttiva.
Questa varietà ci è stata gentilmente donata da John Fiedler. La sigla "MDESH" fa solamente riferimento alle iniziali della sua fonte per i semi.

A nivel regional, adquiere diferentes nombres: Tova o Covincho en Paraguay, Covincho o Putaparió en Argentina. La planta es único en su especie. No crece mucho en altura, pero crece tupida con ramas largas y delgadas pocos milímetros horizontal o colgantes. Las flores son pequeñas, blancas, con pétalos ligeramente alargados y libre de manchas. Los frutos son pequeños y en forma de óvalo. A diferencia de la variante "NMDUC", los frutos crecen en posición vertical. Cuando está madura de fácil desmontaje del tallo. Madura de verde a negro a rojo brillante. Pasa el invierno muy bien y es muy productiva.
Esta variedad fue cedida gentilmente por John Fiedler. La abreviatura "MDESH" sólo se refiere a la inicial de su fuente para las semillas.

Es wächst nicht viel in der Höhe, sondern wächst buschig mit langen dünnen Zweigen paar Millimeter horizontal oder hängend. Die Blüten sind klein, weiß, mit leicht verlängerten Blütenblättern und fleckenfrei. Die Früchte sind klein und oval geformt. Anders als die "NMDUC" Variante wachsen die Früchte aufrecht.
